Personal Data Privacy Policy of International Entertainment Corporation and its subsidiaries (the "IEC Group")
IEC Group will observe the principles of personal data privacy protection and comply with
the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong
Kong) (the “Ordinance”) in adopting its policy and practices relating to the management of
personal data.
Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Data
We collect personal data (such as name, email address, postal address and telephone number) from you when you wish to contact us, whether for the purpose of enquiry or for giving any feedback to us. The personal data collected will be used for contacting you when we reply to you.Personal data received by IEC Group will be treated as confidential information and such personal data will not be disclosed to any third party outside IEC Group. However, IEC Group may disclose and transfer (whether in Hong Kong or abroad) such personal data to:
Subsidiaries, associated or related companies within IEC Group;
Any other person or corporation under a duty of confidentiality to IEC Group which has undertaken to keep such information confidential;
Where such disclosure is authorised or required by law or any court of competent jurisdiction;
Any third party who provides services to IEC Group or assist in IEC's operations, subject to the provisions of the Ordinance; or
Governmental bodies or other regulators as required under the law or pursuant to any regulatory requirements to which any member of IEC Group is subject.
IEC Group will do its best to ensure compliance with the Ordinance. However, IEC Group
cannot control how third parties use your personal information and assumes no responsibility
for the privacy protection provided by such third parties.
Personal information access and correction
The Ordinance provides that any person having provided personal data to IEC Group has the
right to request access to and correction of the personal data provided by such person to and
held by IEC Group that are inaccurate. A charge will be made to cover the cost of
photocopying personal data supplied in response to a data access request. The request must be
made in writing and addressed to the company secretary of IEC, specifying the data obtained
through the data access request mentioned above which needs to be corrected. Satisfactory
proof and explanation of the inaccuracy is essential before IEC will correct the data. Upon
satisfying itself of the authenticity and validity of the correction request, IEC will comply
with and respond to the request as required under the Ordinance.
